About Us

Cool Creek North is home to approximately 234 families.  These homes are nestled in original Indiana forest land along Cool Creek.  Many people used to hunt in this area.  Its inception began with custom built homes in the early 1970s by developer Joseph Dawson.  It is located between Main St. and Smokey Row Road just east of Keystone Parkway and west of Gray Road.  Activities taking place here include involvement in the Carmel Marathon, Fourth of July Parade, End of the Season Pool Party, and other neighborhood get togethers.  While the pool is privately owned by Mike Troy and the Troy/Lueking Family and a not-for-profit corporation, it is an integral part of this community.  Mike Troy won a gold medal in the Rome Olympics in 1960.  He also swam for I.U.  Many homeowners belong to the Smokey Row Swim Club which is in Section Five of our neighborhood. The Club hosts a summer swim team which includes many of the neighborhood children.  One of the former swim club members Steele Johnson won an Olympic medal at the 2016 summer games for diving.  The Cool Creek Home Owners Association is dedicated to keeping the neighborhood safe, maintaining the entryways and other common property, garage sales, monthly most beautiful yard contest and covenants plus addressing any concerns of the homeowners.
